Throughout Hani’s career, he has done a substantial number of ground breakers including the establishment of Vodafone Egypt, SEGAS, ELNG, RAYA, DAMAC, EMAAR MISR, and other companies as well as structuring and implementing the merger of Egypt’s largest investment banks. Hani was proudly behind the first GDRs ever offered for Egyptian shares as well as some of the most prominent IPOs and listings in Egypt. He participated in the Egyptian Feed In Tariff program and represented the only company qualified in round one in Benban. Hani has also participated in the bidding process of many renewable energy projects offered by states and private sector in the MENA, Botswana, South Africa, Togo, Benin and Guinea.

Hani was one of the most pivotal lawyers behind the privatization of manifold major publicly owned companies. He has continued to advise clients on some of the more innovatory corporate structures to implement on their businesses and constructed some of the best methods to optimize their tax treatment. Additionally, Hani has conducted various legal due diligence reports on companies offered for sale.
