Dr. Hanan Safwat is an Of Counsel at TLF. She is a lecturer of commercial Law, Maritime and Air law at Beni-Suef University, Faculty of Law. Formerly a member of Administration Prosecution.

With over 14 years specializing in dispute resolution and representing clients in other sectors such as: Emaar, Aramco, Redcon, Döhler, Haz Marble, Ever Given, Fine Hygienic Holding, Kuwait Foundry, and the Mid Bank. Dr. Hanan handled major commercial disputes before Egyptian courts, arbitral tribunals and regulatory bodies including arbitral disputes before ICC and CRCICA. Dr. Hanan advises clients on a wide array of laws in the MENA region, including Egyptian, UAE, Qatar and Saudi laws. Her career spans various leadership roles, including Counsel positions at leading law firms.

Dr. Hanan's academic achievements are equally impressive. She holds a Ph.D. in Banking Operations and International Commercial Law from Cairo University. She completed her Ph.D. thesis on “the execution of international sales of goods under UCP 600”.Her dedication to education is also evident through her numerous teaching positions, shaping the next generation of legal professionals. Hanan is recognized for her ability to build strong, structured legal arguments backed by solid evidence, ensuring success in even the most complex cases. She is committed to delivering trusted legal advice and has a proven track record of success in managing legal cases across various industries.
